I know you’re probably thinking, “What’s going on?”, and let me assure you, everything is just fine and dandy. But it’s probably a good idea to lay a few things out for regular visitors and forum members. First of all, I’m not happy with the present condition of the site, and even less happy with how I’ve shelved the site due to college over the past few years. You may have heard that I’ve recently graduated from the Visual Arts program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. And while I’m in that awkward transition between school and the real world, school was the reason why I neglected a number of my interests, hobbies, and personal pursuits. And as school is finished for me (for the time being), I have no excuse not to pick things back up again. A few entries back, I wrote about the mention that this site had in the supplementary article in volume 10 of the Evangelion manga. And to be perfectly honest, part of me doesn’t feel like the site deserved that mention. I’ve been somewhat of an absent webmaster, and an absent forum administrator. That being said, I intend to systematically go through the site, throwing out certain content that is inconsistant, incomplete, or just plain absent. I’m also intending to integrate a few new features, a new design, and new content which I’ve collected. In short, everything has been taken down for the time being, but content will resurface periodically as I review, revise, or repurpose it. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions for the future of this site, feel free to email me at theevamonkey@evamonkey.com, or to PM me on the forum, which is always available to you.
And if you have any trouble registering, please send me an email, we’ve had to respond to the problem with spambots by turning account activation to admin only. It makes it easier for us if you mention Evangelion in your interests so that we know you’re not a spambot.
